Tahina is 11 years old and is in the 5th grade. She lives with her mother, Jeanette, who is 31 years old. Jeanette does not work and Tahina’s father, Gerardo, is not present. She likes to learn Bible verses and participate in Bible class at Oasis de la Gracia. Initially, Tahina was easily frustrated at Oasis de la Gracia. She has improved in this area. She has shown great progress in understanding and completing her assignments and is also showing more personal responsibility.
