On Saturday, April 16th, over 100 runners participated in the second annual Run for the Kids race, benefitting The King’s Academy and 18ten. Yet again, the race took place at the beautiful Belterra Community Center in Dripping Springs and featured a 1 mile fun run/walk, 5k and 10k. Similar to last year, the forecast predicted heavy rain but God was kind and held it off just long enough for us to get the entire event completed. It was awesome to see all the families that made it out! The kids enjoyed a bounce house, face painting and even got the chance to meet some real life firefighters along with their truck.

Thanks to all the participants, volunteers, and sponsors we raised over $12,000 to support two great causes! We are so grateful for the overwhelming support and thankful to God yet again for how he has provided. God’s work through you is allowing us to continue to reach a generation of kids that will play a role in impacting the communities they belong to!
