The Impact of a Scholarship

Unfortunately, most Nicaraguan children are hindered by a broken home, education system, or both. We believe that an opportunity to attend Oasis of Grace Christian Academy is an opportunity for lifelong empowerment. A full scholarship to Oasis doesn’t just meet a child’s basic needs—it covers the cost of:

  • Well-rounded lunches to include a protein and vegetable, a step above the standard rice and beans
  • Secure, private transportation provided by Oasis’ staff
  • Highly qualified core and elective teachers
  • Teacher training and support
  • Textbooks and curriculum for core subjects, art, music, and P.E.
  • A backpack, uniform, and school supplies

A scholarship not only provides these material blessings, most importantly, it invests in a child’s spiritual development. Each teacher at Oasis is carefully selected to ensure every child gets not just a teacher, but a Christian mentor committed to pointing his/her students to Christ and modeling what it looks like to follow Jesus.

It is our prayer that by helping bridge the spiritual, educational, and nutritional gaps children are currently facing, they will be empowered to break free from the cycle of poverty and be equipped to accomplish all The Lord has planned for them.
